About these videos

These are animations and 3D scenes whose creator names Blender in their own post. Each card links to the original post on X or Reddit and keeps the prompt when the creator shared one. The list comes from the creators' words, so a few posts name Blender only to say they did without it.

Claude works with Blender in two main ways. It can write a Python script that builds and animates a scene, which Blender renders from the command line; FFmpeg then joins the frames and sound into an MP4 (Kevin Singh). Or it can use Blender's official Claude connector, built by the Blender developers, to work in the scene you have open (Claude Academy).

Many creators mix tools: a character modelled in Blender, then placed in a Three.js scene in the browser. Those videos also appear on Three.js. When you watch, check whether the final frames came from Blender's renderer or from a browser capture, since lighting and materials look quite different.

For the connector, MCP servers and the After Effects options, read Claude with Blender and After Effects. More 3D work is in 3D and generative videos.

Questions

How does Claude work with Blender?

Claude can write a Blender Python script that Blender renders from the command line (Kevin Singh), or work in your open scene through Blender's official Claude connector (Claude Academy).

Do I need the Blender connector to animate with Claude?

No. A script run from the command line works without it. The connector helps when you want Claude to change a scene you are already working in; Claude with Blender and After Effects compares the options.
