About these videos

These are motion design videos made with Claude: showreels, logo reveals, transitions and loops, most of them drawn frame by frame by code Claude wrote. Each card links to the original post on X or Reddit. The model on each card is the creator's own claim, not something motif tested.

Claude Motion is a beta template in Claude for Team and Enterprise plans. It builds the animation as code, uses no video generation model, and exports an MP4 (Claude Help Center). Claude Motion, explained has the details. Outside Claude Motion, three routes come up again and again in these posts. Remotion is for making "videos and motion graphics with React" (Remotion). HeyGen's open-source HyperFrames renders HTML to video and is "built for agents" (HyperFrames README). The third skips frameworks: one HTML file where every frame is a function of time, captured by Playwright and joined into an MP4 by ffmpeg (Arqam Waheed on DEV).

When you watch, check the timing first: good moves speed up and settle instead of sliding at one speed. Then check holds, since text needs time on screen to be read, and whether sound hits land on visual beats. A card with a prompt shows the creator's own words, the quickest way to see how much direction a result needed.

To choose a route, read Claude Motion vs Remotion vs HyperFrames. Skills you can install are on agent skills, and step-by-step write-ups by other makers are in written tutorials. New to this? Start with Quick start.

Questions

How do you make motion graphics with Claude?

Ask Claude to write the animation as code, then render it to MP4. Common routes are Remotion (React), HyperFrames (HTML) or one HTML file captured frame by frame with Playwright and ffmpeg (Arqam Waheed on DEV). Quick start walks through a first video.

Is the model name on each video checked?

No. The label repeats what the creator said in the post, and motif does not rerun prompts to confirm it. Posts that name no model are marked Model not specified.
