About these videos

These are explainers and lessons made with Claude, most of them animated in code it wrote: research-paper summaries, math and science walk-throughs, history timelines and product explainers. Each card links to the original post on X or Reddit. Many add narration and captions, and several started from a paper or document that Claude read first.

For math, Claude can write scenes for Manim, a community-maintained Python framework for mathematical animations under the MIT licence (Manim). For narrated explainers, explainroo is an MIT tool that turns a script into an MP4 with a local voice (Kokoro), word timing (Whisper) and a canvas renderer (explainroo). bests.one logged one 30-second narrated explainer made with Claude Code and HyperFrames, including every error it hit (bests.one).

Check the facts on screen against the source. A clean animation can still state something wrong, and posts rarely say whether anyone checked. Then check that narration, captions and visuals change together, and that diagrams stay up long enough to read.

More how-tos, including Remotion and HyperFrames explainers, are in written tutorials. Explainer skills are on agent skills.

Questions

Can Claude make an explainer video with voiceover?

Yes, with a text-to-speech step. bests.one used edge-tts for the voice and HyperFrames for the picture (bests.one); explainroo runs the voice locally with Kokoro (explainroo).

Can Claude make 3Blue1Brown-style math animations?

Yes, through code. Claude can write scenes for Manim, the community Python framework for mathematical animations (Manim).
