About these videos

These are motion videos whose creators say they made them with Claude Opus 5.5, which Anthropic released on 22 September 2026 (release notes). The model on each card is the creator's own claim, not something motif tested. Each card links to the original post on X or Reddit, and many keep the prompt the creator shared.

Opus 5.5 does not generate video frames. It writes the program that draws the animation: React for Remotion, HTML and CSS for HyperFrames, Three.js for 3D or a Python script for Blender. That program is then rendered to MP4 (Arqam Waheed on DEV). The same prompt can give quite different results from one run to the next, so creators often fix timing and layout in follow-up prompts.

One prompt appears again and again: a request for a dynamic 15-second motion graphics showreel, as if for a rΓ©sumΓ©, shared by Stephan Livera and rerun by many others. When you watch, compare the prompt with the result and check the post for music, reference images or hand edits the creator added.

Videos credited to Opus 5.5 together with another model are not on this page. For the other model, see Claude Sonnet 5.5 videos. To start your own, read the quick start or browse prompts from real videos.

Questions

Can Claude Opus 5.5 make videos?

Not on its own. Opus 5.5 writes code that draws each frame, and a renderer such as Remotion, HyperFrames, a headless browser or Blender turns it into an MP4 (Arqam Waheed on DEV). Claude Motion, a beta artifact template on Team and Enterprise plans, renders and exports the MP4 inside Claude (Claude Help Center).

Is Opus 5.5 better than Sonnet 5.5 for motion?

This archive cannot answer that. Model credit follows each creator's claim, so it shows what people used, not which model is better. Both can write animation code; compare the Sonnet 5.5 videos.

Where can I find Claude Opus 5.5 video prompts?

A video on this page with a shared prompt shows it in full on its watch page, ready to copy. Prompts from real videos collects the most liked creator prompts by category.
