About these videos

These are product launch films, app demos and UI showcase loops made with Claude, most of them from animation code it wrote. Each card links to the original post on X or Reddit. Some rebuild real screens in HTML or React and animate them; others invent an interface just for the video.

Two routes come up most. The first animates an existing design: the MIT-licensed design-to-motion skill rebuilds a static design as a pixel-exact HTML replica, loads it in from an empty state, loops it, and exports an MP4 for X plus a website GIF and an 800×500 GIF (design-to-motion). The second builds a film from the real app in Remotion. Rishabh Saxena reports about 14 hours, 19 commits and 7 rounds of AI-critic review for one 30-second promo (Rishabh Saxena on DEV).

When you watch, ask whether the UI is real. Invented screens and features are common; Saxena had Claude list only what the app's code can actually do before any storyboard (Rishabh Saxena on DEV). Then check small text at phone size and whether cursor moves and clicks follow a believable path.

For steps, read Turn a design or app screen into motion and Claude Code + Remotion launch video.

Questions

How do I make an app launch video with Claude?

Give Claude your real screens or the app's code and have it build the film in Remotion or HyperFrames, then review stills before the full render. Claude Code + Remotion launch video covers the steps, time and cost.

Can Claude turn a screenshot or Figma design into a video?

Yes. The design-to-motion skill is built for that: it rebuilds the design in HTML, animates it in a loop and exports MP4 and GIF files (design-to-motion). See Turn a design or app screen into motion.
