About these videos

These are 3D scenes and generative pieces made with Claude, most of them from code it wrote: Three.js worlds, shader art, particle systems, simulations and Blender scenes built from scripts. Each card links to the original post on X or Reddit. Some are rendered films; others are screen recordings of live, interactive pages.

Generative work often runs in the browser. Anthropic's algorithmic-art skill has Claude write p5.js sketches with seeded randomness, noise fields, particles and flow fields (anthropics/skills). For 3D, Claude writes Three.js or WebGL code, or a Python script for Blender. In Kevin Singh's walkthrough, Claude writes the script, Blender renders it from the command line and FFmpeg joins the frames and sound into an MP4, without opening Blender's interface (Kevin Singh).

When you watch, check whether a piece is a rendered film or a live page captured on screen, since live pages can stutter. Look at lighting and materials, where code-built 3D often looks plain, and at the camera moves.

Blender also has an official Claude connector, built by the Blender developers (Claude Academy). For it and the After Effects options, see Claude with Blender and After Effects. Skills such as algorithmic-art are on agent skills. To build a live scroll-driven website with Three.js or GSAP rather than a video, see Animated scroll websites with Claude Code.

Questions

Can Claude make 3D animations?

Yes, by writing the code that draws them: Three.js or WebGL in the browser, or a Python script that Blender renders (Kevin Singh). Claude outputs the program, not the video file (Arqam Waheed on DEV).

Can Claude animate in Blender?

Yes. Claude can write a Blender Python script that builds and animates a scene, and Blender renders it from the command line (Kevin Singh). Blender's official Claude connector also lets Claude script the scene you have open (Claude Academy); see Claude with Blender and After Effects.

Can Claude make generative art?

Yes. Anthropic's algorithmic-art skill, licensed Apache-2.0, guides Claude to write p5.js generative art with seeded randomness, noise fields and particles (anthropics/skills).
