Claude Motion Examples: 8 Real Animations and What They Show
These are eight animations that creators on X say they made with Claude Motion, the beta artifact template on Team and Enterprise plans. They are short explainers, data visualisations and brand assets, all about a minute or less. Each one links to its watch page and the original post, checked on 2026-11-05.
AI-assisted writing: this guide was drafted with Claude Fable 5.1, and each fact is linked to its sources.
Claude Motion turns a prompt into a short animation written as code and exports it as MP4. It is a beta on Team and Enterprise plans (Claude Help Center). The examples below come from the motif archive: posts dated on or after the 8 October 2026 launch whose creators say they used the feature. Posts that use the phrase "Claude motion" for earlier Opus 5.5 videos, and posts from competing products, are left out.
Which Claude Motion examples are in the archive?
| Example | Creator | What it shows |
|---|---|---|
| Title screen, infographic and bumper | @burkenstocks, 8 Oct | A branded title screen, an animated infographic and a closing bumper, made in Claude Motion and brought into Descript to finish a video. |
| Hands-on test | @ryu_f_web, 9 Oct | A first test in Japanese, with notes on what can be changed afterwards: the text, the length and the colours. |
| An edit rebuilt | @tryahdd, 9 Oct | An existing edit taken apart and rebuilt around a new idea, using Claude Motion with Higgsfield. |
| Film genres over 100 years | @gavinpurcell, 10 Oct | A data visualisation of how film genres changed over a century. The creator credits the Motion artifact with Opus 5.5 and says it worked for seven hours. |
| Community events in October | @akantjas, 13 Oct | An animation summing up a community's events for the month. |
| Fitness app promo | @manhcuong1820, 13 Oct | An app promo made with a third-party skill the creator calls OneTake, which adds a script, sound design and emphasis beats. |
| Real estate explainer | @Atlas_fomo, 15 Oct | What the creator calls a one-shot 30-second explainer, then one edit in plain numbers: the median price changed to $640,000 and the scene moved to night, in about 45 seconds. |
| Event explainer in Japanese | @aitech_komoriya, 15 Oct | A 30-second explainer for an invented event: what it is, when and where, and how to sign up, one message per screen. |
What do the Claude Motion examples have in common?
- They are short: every example runs about a minute or less. Anthropic's help article gives a 30-second example and no fixed maximum length (Claude Help Center).
- They explain something: a dataset, an event, a product or a brand. That matches what Anthropic says Motion is for, animating your own text, charts, shapes and images, with no generated footage or AI-generated people (Claude Help Center).
- They are edited by asking. The real estate example changes one number and the time of day in a single follow-up line, rather than rebuilding the scene.
- Several are finished elsewhere: in Descript, in Higgsfield or with a third-party skill. The launch article lists Adobe, Descript, HeyGen, Higgsfield, invideo, Luma AI and Runway as places to open an animation (Claude blog).
What did creators without a Team plan make instead?
Pro and Max plans do not include Claude Motion (Claude Help Center). Some creators posted what they made in Claude Code instead, rendering the MP4 on their own computer:
- A 576-frame cartoon fight from one HTML file, where every frame is a function of time; the creator says the MP4 rendered in 2 minutes (@vmrmax on X).
- An open-source take on Motion that runs in Claude Code with 8 styles, each video scored with its own music (@realsunsiyuan on X).
- Lessons from 17 skill packs: drive picture, music and sound effects from one list of events so the beat lands on the action (@jason_dingzc on X).

How do you make your own Claude Motion animation?
- Start in any chat, select Output in the message box and choose Motion, or pick the Motion template in the Artifacts tab (Claude Help Center).
- Describe what the animation should show, who it is for and roughly how long it should be (Claude Help Center).
- Edit by asking Claude in the chat or adjust the animation in the editor. Ask in numbers, as the real estate example does, rather than adjectives.
- Click Export and choose MP4 (Claude Help Center).
